The runoff between Ray Barber and Frank “Bud” Lott is scheduled for August 10th. Lott and Barber are running for the Democratic nomination for County Commission District 2. Lott received 815 votes and Barber received 562 votes in the July 20th primary election. Voter who did not vote in the primary can vote in the August 10th runoff. The winner of the runoff will face Republican Phillip Bentley for the County Commission District 2 seat. Bentley faced no opposition on the republican side in the July 20th primary.
