The Rockmart Homespun Festival will be this weekend in downtown Rockmart in Seaborn Jones Park. The festival will begin Friday, July 16th at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment. Saturday morning will kick off with the Homespun 5K Race at 8:00 a.m. There will also be a “Fun Run” for ages 5-11, and a “Tot Trot” for ages 2-5. The “Fun Run” will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the cost is $15 and the 5K is $25. The Homespun parade will be at 10:00 a.m. in downtown. Entertainment will continue throughout the day along with several different varieties of food. The festival will conclude Saturday night with a fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.
