Polk School District Superintendent Marvin Williams announced this morning that school will be released early today due to the winter weather. Williams said that school will be released at 10 a.m. due to mountain roads that are starting to accumulate snowfall. Parents are advised to pick up their children as soon as possible. Winter Weather Advisory was cancelled as a Winter Storm Warning was issued as 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected in Northwest Georgia today.
