City crews to replace water main; water service outage expected

Crews will be repairing a water main located in the Rock Street/Merits Avenue/Jones Street/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. area on THURSDAY, JULY 21.

The estimated time of repair is from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Residents living in the above-mentioned area will be without water service during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please understand this repair is necessary and every effort will be made to complete the task as quickly as possible. Our Public Works crew placed advisory notices on the door knobs of the residents that will be affected by the disruption in service.

During the repair, Rock Street to MLK Blvd. to East Ellawood will be closed to NON-RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC only.

Also during this time, residents living in the Hickland/Pine Crest/Rogers Trail area may experience periods of low water pressure.
