You must bring with you: identification and the address the fan will be used at. There is a limit of one per household.

If you are an elderly individual who can not make it down to the Fire Department, or have an elderly relative who can not make it, you can call the Fire Department with the individual’s name and address and a crew will deliver the fan to them.

Republican Candidate for DA, Jack Browning

BREMEN– Local attorney Jack Browning announces his bid for district attorney of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit, which encompasses Polk and Haralson counties. He will run as a Republican candidate in this summer’s July 31 primary election.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the citizens of Polk and Haralson counties,” says Browning. “My focus will be on building effective, unprecedented partnerships with law enforcement and other agencies to protect neighborhoods and provide justice for those who have been victims of crime.”

The Tallapoosa City Police Department and Pete Bridges, Mayor of Tallapoosa, are the first to announce endorsement of Jack Browning for district attorney.

“With Jack’s extensive experience working with and for local governments, he knows that public safety is vital to the well-being of our community and for the economic development in our county,” says Mayor Bridges.

Tallapoosa Chief of Police, Scott Worthy, adds his support, “The Tallapoosa Police Department is 100 percent behind Jack Browning for district attorney.”

In addition to leadership and a passion for serving the public interest, Browning brings to the race unequaled criminal law experience. He has a solid track record trying misdemeanor and felony cases, and extensive experience working with law enforcement and the district’s attorney’s office.

A veteran criminal law attorney, Browning currently is chief assistant public defender for Haralson and Polk counties. Earlier he served as the County Attorney for Haralson County, while also practicing law for the Bremen-based firm, Murphy, Murphy & Garner.

Browning graduated from Georgia State School of Law in 1999 with honors. A resident of Bremen, he is married with one child.

AAPS Endorses GOP Candidate Jennifer Hulsey

Posted in News Desk by Jordan McLendon
Jun 12 2012

GOP Candidate For State House District 16, Jennifer Hulsey & Family

The Association of American Physicians & Surgeons (AAPS), a voice for private medicine since 1943, endorses Republican Jennifer Hulsey for Georgia House District 16.

We are confident that, once elected, Jennifer Hulsey will lead the way to curtailing oppressive government interference with ethical medicine. Jennifer will help restore the practice of private medicine for the benefit of Georgia patients.

We need to elect conservative leaders like Jennifer Hulsey. She understands how harmful ObamaCare and other forms of socialism are, and she is courageous enough to work against them.

For years, as part of her Tea Party efforts, Jennifer Hulsey has been a tireless advocate for the American people. She has spoken at several of AAPS’s meetings and always received a thunderous applause. Jennifer Hulsey understands how out-of-touch most politicians are and, once elected, Jennifer will return the power to the people.

In October 2009, AAPS awarded Jennifer our Shining Scalpel Award. This award had only been awarded three previous times in the 67 year history of AAPS. The award was given to honor her outstanding service to the American people and to the profession of medicine by mobilizing the Tea Party movement, and organizing public town hall meetings to “cut” through the political rhetoric on “health care reform.”

Her Democratic opponent in the general election needs to be retired … by electing Jennifer Hulsey. Jennifer has our full endorsement. Learn more at http://hulseyinthehouse.com/.

Paid for entirely by AAPS, headquartered at 1601 N. Tucson Blvd., Suite 9, Tucson, AZ 85716, 800-635-1196. This is not authorized, paid for, or approved by any candidate.
